PITCHAI BIOMECHANICAL ANALYSIS
Slow-motion analysis of your mechanics
The PitchAI software allows our trainers to break down pitching mechanics with objective data from a biomechanical standpoint. PitchAI takes a slow-motion video and analyzes mechanical efficiencies and inefficiencies such as pelvis and torso rotation, shoulder abduction, elbow flexion, etc. These statistics give our trainers a great idea of how to maximize velocity and throwing efficiency by improving mechanics at the biomechanical level.
PitchAI Baseline Assessment
Pitch AI Baseline Assessments include the following.
- Slow-Motion video breakdown of your mechanics
- You will be given a full report showing the different biomechanical breakdowns
- Arm Angle Kinematics
- Arm Angular Velocity Kinematics
- Trunk Kinematics
- Knee Kinematics
- Kinematic Sequencing
- A consultation with Zac, director of player development, will be scheduled to dissect the data, give an explanation of what it means, and give a few recommendations
- Optional player programming available to improve on mechanical inefficiencies
