Hi, my name is Kayden. I started my baseball journey at the age of 5, for Fairfax, Fletcher Westford Little League. I was chosen to play on All-Star teams each year I was eligible. I was primarily a middle infielder, but became very versatile while playing baseball for BFA Fairfax where I spent time in both the infield and outfield. I’ve always been a team player and have a team first mentality. My senior year of High School, the BFA Fairfax Varsity baseball team won the state championship game at Centennial field and I was very fortunate to be apart of this team and help contribute. This was something that I had worked the majority of my life to achieve and something I’ll never forget! During my free time I support my younger brother in areas of baseball where he could show growth. I am hoping to join his little league coaching staff in the coming years. I am passionate, knowledgeable, patient and driven to support youth in achieving their goals, as so many adults in my life have given me that same support!
Colin Freeman
BASEBALL

Colin is a graduate of Oxnard College (JUCO in Cali) and Oklahoma City University. He was an All-Star in the Southern California Collegiate Baseball League in 2019 batting .354. He went on to hit .338 in the Great Lakes Collegiate League in 2021, the #6 ranked collegiate summer league that year, while finishing top 10 in the league in slugging % with .550.
He has studied under current Atlanta Braves hitting coordinator Chris Antariksa, as well as MLB hitting consultants Doug Latta and Lane Adams.
He is knowledgeable and passionate about all things hitting and player development.

Brian Miller

Brian played high school baseball at Lyndon Institute 88-91.He attended college at Lyndon State College and studied Sports Medicine. Brian was the Athletic trainer for the LSC baseball team for two years. Working now as an athletic trainer in the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics, at Bio-Medic Appliances, in Essex Brian has Coached Fairfax Fletcher Westford Little League for the past seven years. He Lives in Westford with his wife and two children, a softball player and a baseball player ironically. He is an immediate fit for our students!!
Colin Bombardier

Growing up in Westford, VT, Colin's love for baseball blossomed through playing in the FFWLL. While attending Essex High School, he played summer baseball for Franklin County. Colin's summer baseball journey was crowned with a state championship at age 18, playing second base. His versatility on the field includes extensive experience in middle infield and occasional outfield play. Currently, Colin is a student at Saint Michael's College, where he studies criminology and psychology. His academic journey enriches his coaching style, providing insight into both the mental and physical aspects of the sport. Colin's coaching career began early, partnering with his dad to coach youth sports at the age of 13. His experience spans soccer, baseball, and softball, with the last four years dedicated to youth baseball and softball. Colin brings dedication, knowledge, and a positive attitude to every practice and game. Passionate about developing young talent, Colin strives to create an environment where athletes can grow, succeed, and cultivate a lifelong love for the game.
Sam Steinman

Sam grew up playing on competitive travel teams in Westchester NY. Sam played a year of varsity at Horace Greeley High School, but the season was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19. The following year he moved to Peru, Vermont and attended Burr and Burton Academy for his senior year. In high school, Sam was named all-Southern Vermont League (SVL) and was named as a starter for the Vermont North vs South all-star game. In two years of Vermont Legion, Sam was twice named all-state finishing his legion career with a 448 career batting average and .547 on base average and .638 slugging percentage. Sam played three years at Castleton University, graduating in business management and marketing. Sam looks to use his last year of eligibility to play in grad school.
Henry Stowell

Hi, I’m Henry Stowell. I grew up in Sudbury, Massachusetts and baseball has always been a huge part of my life. As a closing pitcher, I played varsity baseball at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School and during the summers I competed with American Legion Team Post 191. Developing skills and competitiveness on the mound, I continued my baseball journey at the University of Vermont, pitching for the club baseball team. I have a good grasp of fundamentals with focus on control as a pitcher. With a background in coaching ages K-5 in San Diego, California as a gym teacher, my passion for sports and growth mindset has led others to success on and off the field. I’m always willing to talk about fundamentals and how to improve as a player.
Mike Wilhide

Mike is a baseball guy. He loves the tradition and has been watching and playing for a long time. He started playing Sandlot ball in the late 60's and played whenever and wherever he could.
He played the outfield in the South Troy Little League and the same position and catching in American Legion ball in 1976, for a brief period of time, until his family moved. After finishing High School, Mike joined the USAF and served from 1981-1986 and was Honorably Discharged. After starting a career in radio in 1987, he moved to Vermont in 1989 and has lived and worked here ever since.
Most recently, he coached pitchers and catchers for Milton Highschool and found his calling, which has lead him to The Strike Zone Academy, where he hopes to remain until he retires and beyond!
